Summary of Role:

Project Coordinators perform the critical role of interface between SunPower customers and project management/construction teams to provide support throughout the solar installation project lifecycle. They are the primary point of contact with our customers and own the customer relationship post-sale. Project Coordinators are responsible for communicating with customers as well as internal and external stakeholders and assisting with managing activities across multiple departments and functions to drive projects to completion. The Project Coordinator is viewed as the primary Customer Advocate and owns making sure our customers have an experience they love.

Essential Duties &
Responsibilities::

  • Serve as the single point of contact for customers during the installation lifecycle
  • Manage customers expectations of project deliverables and timelines as well as deliver proactive communication to customers so they are informed of progress
  • Serve as primary customer advocate who takes responsibility to make sure our customer s project runs smoothly
  • Drive project stakeholder action and execution to ensure that project milestones are completed in a timely manner
  • Manage conflict and customer dissatisfaction by taking ownership of issues and working proactively with stakeholders to resolve in a timely manner
  • Support closed-loop learning to develop, refine, and implement processes to improve efficiency and customer experience
  • Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders as well as customers through respect, empathy, effective communication and being well organized. You are the one that makes sure our customers love us!

Minimum
Qualifications:

  • Two plus years of Project or Account Management experience
  • Experience in residential home improvement project coordination or project management
  • Proven customer service background
  • Proven friendly telephone voice and demeanor
  • Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using a CRM and/or project management software
  • Curious, always seeking to learn more and understand

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • B.S. / B.A. degree and minimum 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
  • Technical knowledge of solar system installations
  • NABCEP certification a plus

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Able to work upright and stationary and/or standing for working hours
  • Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable method
  • Able to position and move objects up to 10 pounds
  • Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency
  • The position requires travel with the potential of overnight stays between assigned facilities and various locations within the community. Less than or equal to 10% travel
  • Day to day work is completed in the office at personal computer M-F, first shift hours
  • Ambient noise level is usually quiet, consisting of normal conversations, business machines, telephones, but occasionally may be above average for portions of the business day

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
